Difference between the houses

Hey I was wondering what the difference is between all the houses... is it just names? I wasn't sure if it was people from different countries, age, or maby server oriented. Thanks in advanced!

To actually answer your question.

The different houses are basically the different servers they call it their home. That is just about it.

Obviously the different servers each house primarily plays on is a big issue. But I would not always just go running to your favorite maps' house.

Although many of our houses share similar principles, our members are all inevitably unique. You may have a favorite map right now, but eGO offers several 24/7 maps all with their "designated" house. You may even find that playing on one of these other maps and shooting with a couple of their particular house members to persuade your favorite map.

Although changing houses is allowed, it may be frowned upon by that house's members. How would you like it if someone joined your team and then 2 weeks later bailed to join another team? I would personally take your time to get to know a few of the different members and get a feel for which house's members you will really like the best.

What Shadow said I think best sums it up.. its just whoever you make friends with mostly. I try and play all the servers at one time or another, though I do fancy me some dod_strand a lot of the time. So its a win/win in my case.. seeing as I've grown to love my fellow DAM members and strand happens to be one of my favorite maps, i mean.. seriously its the only 24/7 server we run right now where you get to blow up stuff for objectives...

Houses were also created to help manage the size of the clan I believe. Regardless of house, we're all one clan

Let me explain this completely:

The house are in place to maintain members easily throughout the DoD Division. The group got so big, it was hard to keep track of everyone. Because of this, they made a few houses with House Leaders and gave them servers in which they primarily play on. It makes it easier for the division to promote and monitor members.

The best way to join a house is probably by the server in which they frequent and/or comraderie you share with people in certain houses.

Like slayr said, we have certain servers in which we frequent:

DamBusters have Strand/Charlie
Hell Hounds share Flash with Reservoir Dogs
Imperial Guard have Avalanche
The Raiders have Donner
Sewer Ratz have Kalt

I believe since Anzio turned into an Orange maps server, Foreign Legion is either currently sharing Ava with Imperial Guard or they are with Orange. Not entirely sure on those details.

FL currently have no home map. The Fl leadership decided that we would have no deadicated map and let our members play where every they want. Will still stick together as a community in vent (theres about 15 of us in there everyday). This is also important due to the fact that alot of foreign members are in our house (and there are US and Canadians as well) thus these admins from foreign lands don't feel they need to have 15 good admins in a server (lets sat ava) and thus letting the rest of the servers get ragged 10 times over before the USA admins get on.

But yes we have no home map per say we speard ourselves out, bt the majourity of our members do play on ava, donner and argentan (if there was one, it seems to be one of our favourite map within FL.)

Don't make a rushed decision USMCDEVILDOG, I know I did and I regreted it (even thouhgt I loved my orignal house). I felt like i left my first house's members down. I moved onto FL where I found where I was able to fit in.
