Personally, I feel that Ebay just promotes lack of risk, interaction and roleplay. Yes I know you can blacklist the illegal items, but that leaves legal items that would otherwise be pedaled on the streets or in stores.

If people want to make a quick buck, make them market their product, get out there and be a salesman.

There is absolutely ZERO roleplay benefit to the existence of this app. It ONLY deters roleplay as far as I can see.

You shouldn't be able to sell your products with zero interaction what so ever. It shouldn't poof from your inventory to a magical market, it shouldn't poof into your inventory from a magical market.

Making the economy a huge grinding game also deters from roleplay. If someone wants to make an eBay business I see no reason to stop them. Store owners should just work on their marketing and offer better incentives to bring in new long-term customers.

100% disagree, with food out of the way and illegal items being barred soon, it's only purpose will be legal items such as car parts and what not as well as vehicles and both of these things I think should be sold in person to create interaction and roleplay. The welfare check allows us to roleplay without starving or dehydrating. We don't need a non interactive magical poof sales machine to allow for roleplay.

For the record, that whole stealing food and drink from robbing cars isn't going to provide what it does now, so that market is pretty much dead anyway. Having the website LIST sales but not ACTUALLY allow you to sell through it would work. But the online sales need to go I think.

Cryptic Strolski Cryptic Strolski Great suggestion, great points.

I see where you are coming from, it lacks the roleplay which meeting someone for x item would have provided.

I will be elevating this concern to the GTA leaders at our upcoming meeting, there we will discuss a solution to this issue. I will let you know the result as soon as I get one.
