Guide to getting high message count on the forums!

1. Post on Let’s count to a million often, this is probably the most efficient method if you want a high message count fast.

2. Give out happy birthday messages every day. If you go to "members" at the top of the page there is a box that says birthdays click on the people's forum acc's and just drop a happy bday message and head out. This normally gives 1-4 messages per day (keep in mind the forum clock resets around 9 pm est)

3. Post on any newish off-topic thread, pretty basic. (Don't necro kids it's bad for you) Even if it isn't related to you, like this random thread even if you don't play on CS JB (Example)

4. Post on every event thread (Minecraft event weekly thread, cs event threads, tf2 event threads, and anything else + the global event weekly calendar if that ever comes back) with a little message don't say something useless like "pog" unless you have a reason. That's just weirdchamp

5. Post on global pinned threads (this kinda goes hand in hand with #4 ^)

6. Post on introduction threads (kinda straight forward just drop a "Welcome to eGO!!!)

(Mr. Deer-Fat probably has some good tips too he posts too much and has no life outside of the forums)

I made about 5,000 posts in my first year at eGO.

And everyone hated me for it because 4900 of them were crap posts just for the sake of posting. Seriously, I was a huge shitlord. I sucked.

So, here I am now.

Not only is this a great way to get a message count, but It also gets you reaction score FAST! And It also helps us get to a million closer step by step.

Pretty sure this doesn't count towards a message count, though it is still nice to get recognized and also say happy birthday! Bro why is this on my birthday today.

This is great, respond to any reply's to the thread you created and others started from other people. I would like to say to keep this at 1 post every 3 days, It can get annoying.

I love seeing forum activity. But over the past few years I've really been an advocate for users trying to make good quality posts and not just do things for the sake of post count. It contributes to the community so much better.

It's very easy to be active on the forums and help make it a good, constructive place
