I think you're confused - ads are forced onto everyone, he wants to let DS opt-out of it (unless I'm reading wrong)

This post is confusing, why would you want to see ads on the website, don't you mean give DS the option to disable ads on the website?? Ads are enabled for everyone, why would you want to enable them if you're a DS?

A cent here and there will eventually make a dollar.
I'm not saying it would be a huge difference, and probably not a lot of people would choose to see ads - but if it's not too much work from a tech POV, I really don't see the harm.
