Your First Favorite Game vs Now

What was your first game that you remembered playing alot of, versus the games you mainly play now. This could be on any console out there.

on my Xbox 360 played a lot of BO2, that was my first favorite and right now is cs/roblox

I worshipped Ocarina of Time when I was young but when I discovered Runescape I dedicated my childhood life to it. So one of those back then.

Now honestly it's hard to say I just mindlessly play games to pass time now. I play CS a lot but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. I'm putting way too much thought into this lmao

The oldest that I can remember was playing Perfect Dark with a neighbour of mine taking turns

I swear I could’ve went pro for black ops 2. My friend would call me on my flip phone in the morning to get on and we would pug and play custom games all day. After the game was ruined by cheaters I couldn’t stop watching cs:go videos and looked like the perfect game. Downloaded Roblox so I could play a rip off cs:go (cb:ro) just so I can start learning the fundamentals. I realized I could just play cs:go on my moms mac desktop. Played on that for about a year(not on the trackpad) for about a year until I built my pc. Rest is history. Counter strike is the best video game franchise of all time in my opinion but cod does come close.

i remember taking turns on duck hunt with my friends. for some reason taking turns playing games like that just make the experience 10 times better

My answer works for both right now and all time, with my favorite game being Dying Light. I have around 400 hours in the game and will likely put quite a few more in because of how much I enjoy the game.

Played the heck out of RuneScape from 2005 onward. It ran on our bad PCs we always had for ages lol.

Console wise I played insane amounts of Metal Gear Solid 4. Countless plays for years after it came out. Still love the series and think the 4th is one of the best made games of all time.

I don’t really have a “main” game these days but I’m always playing whatever the latest Pokémon is. I’m very excited for the new Lego Star Wars and also intrigued by the Hogwarts game coming soon.

xtank circa '89-92? it's a 2D overhead tank-combat strategy game white on black. One of the first multiplayer games out there. Played on the University's UNIX server. You built your tank from chassis to turret, even needed heat sinks or your engine would overheat. Chassis ran from Motorcycle to Tracked Juggernaut.

DOOM, the Original circa '93

Day of Defeat circa '01 from the Download to the Disc Release to the Steam Release until eGO stopped supporting...

Call of Duty whatever the latest release is.

Counterstrike source back then and now counter strike global offensive. I've always played this game, but almost never played community serves I always played for wagers/bets. EverQuest wouldn't be a close second if not diablo.

Toss up between Final Fantasy 7 and Metal Gear Solid. I went through those so many times(and still go through occasionally). Don't really have a current favorite. I'm slowly going through my backlog, so don't really have a current game.
