Cod4 help plz

Every thime I get in a server I get to play for like 3 mins and then my cod4 closes saying my iwmp.exe stopped working HELP PLZ

Have you tried reinstalling, and backing up your players folder so you still have your profile?

Also if you are in vista try running in compatibility or administrative mode.

Actually, if my problem isn't solved, I may need to do a reinstall. I like both the single player and multiplayer modes, so might I ask a wiser head than my own for specifics on backing up? I'd suppose it's just knowing which files to grab and drop in another folder while you're doing the uninstall reinstall, but if anyone's sure, pointers would be very helpful.
