How hard is it to be an admin and how long usually to get accepted?

What are your thoughts on becoming an admin? Does it take years of playing or do you just have to have a good attitude and willing to learn?

My thoughts, it's a good way. We don't take stupid applications, we base promotions on your actions and maturity.
