Small Introduction
It's been a while since I've updated my introduction, so I'll do that now since a lot has happened in the last year.
Hello, I am Lunar or Adam. You can call me any I don't mind. I used to frequently go by Hero here a long time ago but it was time for a change. I started here in 2017/2018, and here I am now, in 2022. I have two cats, Winter and Pickle, as well as an old one which passed away last October. I play mostly Team Fortress 2, Terraria, Minecraft, and Osu.
My EGO Journey
I first joined eGO long back on an old account, I was confused because it was really confusing for me at the time, since the old website was a bit hard to navigate for newer people. I managed to be so clueless, I created 2 random accounts that I never actually used and still never will. One of the profiles that I could find was this one, which I used when I didn't have access to my computer for a while. (https://www.edgegamers.com/members/101728/) Eventually I got my =(e)= tag on 4 / 5 / 2020 the beginning of an era for me. I played CS:GO back then, I stayed as an =(e)= tag, and slowly lost interest in the game after 1000 hours of TTT and Jailbreak. I also was getting tired of the generally toxic community, so I moved on to another game that I liked, TF2.
TF2 was an important game for me, it held an importance I can't explain. But it was the happiest I'd ever been when I joined the TF2 servers. I immediately had a blast and it was the most active I had ever been on teamspeak and on eGO. Eventually after showing interest for things such as the Event Coordinator position and the Admin Trainers, I was promoted to the first stage of moderation - (eG).
I stayed as (eG) for a while. Did all the bans required, muted people, got trained in multiple game groups, and even became an event coordinator! But most special of all was the Squads/Highlander TF2 team. There was frequent interest and people were wanting for it to happen, but it never did. Well actually there was a team a while ago but I won't get into the specifics. Me and a couple others officially created the eGO Highlander/Squads team, rebuilding on our previous attempt a couple months before. And I got the privilege to be the team captain, and since I had taken the role and started to work hard on building our team and structuring, I was promoted to (eGO). After the Discord Server and the team were ready, we played a couple scrimmages, and had new Captains to help manage too as I had a hard time doing school work and taking care of everything. But after many scrims, and a lot of effort, the community interest lowered dramatically and many people left, leading to a lack of players to play, meaning we couldn't enter RGL 6v6 or Highlander Tournaments.
So where am I now?
I am here, happy as ever, with new pets, new friends, new hobbies and more opportunities for my future endeavours. After all the trail and error, the laughs and the downs, I made it to this post. I remember all the memories I made along the way, Royal Rumbles, Hosting Events, Playing our first scrimmages, getting that promotion to eG after Jeff freaked me out with a troll. But most importantly, the person I used to be, compared to the person I am now.
