Existing Feature No Slur Policy

I notice in game and on the forums people arguing with admins about which version of slurs is and isn't breaking the rules, why one is disrespectful and one isn't etc. This isn't strictly necessary and the rules do a good job of broadly outlining what cannot be said, but I believe adding a "No slurs of any kind are allowed" to the rules would make it much easier for admins to do their job and give them a clear rule to point to when punishing players and stopping arguments that keep coming up. I'm curious to see what the community thinks of this.

Maybe they could just expand their vocabulary and not use slurs. You know, be half decent and civil human beings.

But I guess I’m asking for too much common sense from humanity.

We don't allow the use of slurs, period. If you see admins not taking action against people using them, sometimes they've just missed it. Send them a message using admin chat. If you feel an admin is purposefully ignoring the incident, please utilize the Report a Player forum. Only leadership can see posts made there.

I agree with what Luna said. Allthough I do have to say that I'm not a native English speaker so I actually don't know all the slurs and sometimes do miss them in chat or voice. I've had an instance where Katiee kicked a player for a slur I had never even heard of. If there is someone using slurs and admins don't act on it please let us know in admin chat because I might not know them if it is a less common slur.

i usually ask what the slur was then they send it to me and write it down

Slurs by definition are disrespectful. Our CoC's literal first rule is "No disrespect".
