Possible confirmation of engineer achievements??

For suggestions like the shield generators and most other Engineer upgrades... Now imagine ten of those per team.

The match would go nowhere.

I'd say Engineer upgrades are what I'm looking forward to the least, Scout and Heavy definitely need it more to make them played more often. Everyone already plays Engineer as it is.

I'm at a loss as to what the Spy will ever get, all of his weapons seem fine just the way they are. Perhaps Valve intends to make changes to basic aspects, like the air compression.

I've still got a personal theory and a suggestion I thought was pretty neat. I think they might re-introduce the tranq gun or just a semi-automatic pistol to replace the revolver. I dunno what the tranq gun did in TFC so I can't make predictions, but for the semi-automatic it's pretty obvious how that'd change. Larger clip, faster firing rate, about equal reload time, but not as much damage.

As for the knife, a friend of mine came up with a pretty cool idea. Backstabs recharge cloak. However, normal knife swings have reduced attack speed and reduced damage.

Also, I can't wait for the spy updates. Once again, a trigger happy pyro can cause mayhem. You can't be caught by a spy if you burn everyone that moves.

Like an uber-knife? A slower to hit would make it an actual choice, that's a really good idea!

Classes like spy and sniper are tied more into the function of their weapon rather than the weapon itself, so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

I do imagine spies will get some basic changes though. Their disguises could use some tweaks in some cases to make them a little less obvious - like giving them the ability to change what weapon they're carrying. That's something that's going to become more and more crucial as the weapon packs are rolled out. As it is now, it's hugely obvious when someone is a medic spy since barely any medics use the old needle gun anymore (not to mention the lack of "Ubercharge %" under their name).

Maybe rather than just giving spies new weapons they'll give them some new functionality as well. I think it'd be interesting to give spies the ability to lay some traps.
