XBOX 360 vs. PS3

i wanna know which system is better for me to get because im not sure and i need some help on what to get

the ps3 has much better graphics but to get full advantage of this you need a 1080 tv with a hdmi inputs. Other tvs will work but you will not get maxium graphics from them. Ps3 also gives you a blue ray player to watch movies on. Some games are blue ray as well. The ps3 network is free unlike the xbox 360s'.

the only problem I've found with the ps3 is that the highest version of flash player you can use on it is 7.5 untill adobe writes the code for a newer version so when surfing the net some sites can't be loaded since they run flash player 9 and sony hasn't payed adobe to write the new codes. I would think it would be a good selling point for the ps3 myself.

If you like sports games sony has always been stronger in that field, and almost all the newer games are being released for all platforms now.

I have always liked Ps but if your looking to play on online or what not! id go with 360!

meh, 360 has been around longer and has more titles, so its a bit of a bias between the 2. but id go with the more powerful system. ps3.

PS3 = Good Games, Hard to play, High Definition, Best Graphics, Blu Ray, Hard Drive

360 = Good Games, Easy to play, High Definition, Good Graphics, Hard Drive

Wii = Fun Games, Easy to play, Standard Definition, Standard Graphics

PC = Best Games, Easy to play, High Definition, Anti-Alias, Best Graphics, Blu Ray, Multiple Hard Drives, Upgradeable, May be used for productive tasks.

Get a PS3, all the good games for Xbox are being released on PC anyway so there's no point in buying a system to play what you already can.

I have a PS3 Myself, and I've played a few 360's and I'd say that the PS3 is better in most aspects, the only problem I've had is some of the PlayStation Network (Equivilent to XBox Live) But they keep releasing updates to make it better.

Yea I have a PS3, get that. Thor is also right on what he said. If you're not buying a PS3 because there isn't many games...more games are coming out.

I've played a PS3 once...some awesome games come out for it...but I say 360 cause the graphics (in my opinion) look way better. The controller's are very similar, but i say 360!

Xbox360 was hot a while ago but its slowly dieing while the ps3 has nowhere to go but up, so i think you should get a ps3

Let me put this in a simple wording. PlayStation3, because of MetalGearSolid4.
The only game to outsell MGS4 was GTA4 sales wise, and MGS has THE BEST story line and a solid multiplayer that Ive ever seen in a game. I just finished MGS4, and there has been no other game out there since the days of the NES(nintendo) that had such a purely EPIC experience for the player. Theres something for EVERYONE in MGS, including downloads for the game, online solid multiplayer, and to top it all off amazing graphics that the 360 hasnt seen and wont see.

I did just that, thats why I only finished it yesterday.
I am telling you, dont miss out on games the caliber of MGS simply because the 360 has been out "longer".

Also, those who say games look better on 360 say it because the 360 version of the game ALWAYS has its BLOOM and HDR lighting turned way too high. Everything just to make it look more shiny.
