I officially joined EdgeGamers as an =(e)= for the first time on January 16, 2011. I have no idea why I've always remembered the exact date, but I've never forgotten it. Over the course of a few years, I was part of many different ranks and teams in the community. Some things occurred that led me to part ways with the community for some time, but despite that... eGO still held a place in my heart. I always felt a connection to this community in some way or another, and I could simply never shake that feeling.
I believe one reason I've had that connection was because of the memories and relationships I made over the course of my time here. Many key moments in my life happened while I was an active member of eGO. I can look back and remember where I was both here and in real life. I've also met so many people, some who I've lost contact with, but others I speak to regularly after all these years. I saw eGO for what it was - a community.
This is the section where the title makes sense. There have been many members, admins, and leaders who have come and gone since eGO formed in 2006, and there will be many more that do so as time goes on. But it's because of these people that others can have the same experiences I've had since 2011. So, no matter how big or small your efforts are or have been, thank you for contributing to the community.
