Hodouken after stalemate

Okay this might have been brought up before, but just now on warpath there was a stalemate. Several pyro's were using their hadouken taunt to kill others. Should this be considered legal? They have an advantage over other players when this happens, but both teams can do it, whoever is a pyro. Sorry if this has already been brought up.

If you want to live, stay away from a pyro. Even before the update pyros could taunt and ignite others. And besides, stalemate means that the game is over, it is to no advantage that the pyros taunt.

i dont understand how killing someone after the match is over should be considered as illegal?

stats turn off after the match is over so it has no effect on that

and like woodstock said you just have to move to get away from it, it isnt instant

you actually dont have to have your secondary out, as long as you can still get it with the 'equip last weapon' button you can still use it

I consider haduken after stalemate as the weapon of final chance - kamikaze revenge. I love it

If you think of it - it has many minuses:
slow usage
hard to know when it will hit
easy evading abilities

It's not recorded into stats, I don't see why anyone should ever be punished for killing when the round ends. (Especially since stats are turned off then)

If it's in the game, it's in the game. Therefore, I would find it to be a legitimate defense for a Pyro. Valve should have thought about that.

Killing someone after the match does not affect the next match, It shouldnt be illegal.

The only thing I've noticed with it is that it can get you a revenge on a player that's dominating you.

Of course, since points are off and you get a bonus from killing someone that's dominating you (as far as I know), that only really hurts the pyro pointwise.

Alright, it's "settled" it looks to be perfectly okay to do that taunt after stalemate. I think we can all accept it. Thanks for the input guys.

I do it all the time, and I learned to aim for engineers, as they seem more liable to taunt, and also have a longer taunt time

BTW, 1 thing I have noticed - haouken isn't only Instakill - it's also instadestroy

Its fine only reason it shouldn't be fine is if you couldn't kill the other team when you win

While on the hadouken topic, I've seen people get the achievement for taunt kills by hadouken'ing opponents after a round is over. I'm not able to do it. Have they removed that?
