My brother plays DoD:S, while I play TF2.

He isn't particularly interested in any clan, and I'm afraid that he might do something that might get me banned in a DoD server, as he often plays on =(eGO)= servers (some of them are on his favorites list).

What can I do about this?

State simply "You get me banned and you pay for the account". If this is a younger brother this might work...

Or you can start a new account with TF2 on it.

You're talking about an IP bann, correct? Well that means that you won't be able to access the website/servers if you are using the same internet connection as your brother. in that case, you can either:
a) beat your brother up
b) change your IP (easy to do, but against what eGO wants i would think)

use a proxy ip?.. (illegal lol)

or just simply tell your brother to just respect the rules in the eGO's Servers..

Cause knowing is half the battle!! GO JOE!!

As far as i know most bans are Steam ID, with the exception of some. Just have separate steam accounts and you will be good.

Buy DoD:S from him and he can make a new account, then if you know how, prevent him from accessing the site unless he does want to join us.

He doesn't access the site, but he is somewhat immature online >_>
Getting a separate steam idea isn't the best idea, I don't have any money at all.

I'm pretty sure he'll follow rules, but I'm wondering just in case what could happen.

Question for the admins here...
What does the GUEST tag mean?
Do we treat people with the guest tag differently than if they were normal members?
I put on GUEST when my friend(s) play on my account, but how does that affect anything?

Using a proxy is not illegal in any way lol.

EDIT: Unless your gonna use it for illegal purposes, in which case, its not illegal using the proxy.

Well, whenever he plays on your account, make him put on the GUEST tag and MAKE SURE he does not use any admin abilities whatsoever. Other than that, you will be fine.

Even when wearing a guest tag, someone using your account is still using your account. It's still up to you to police them and make sure they don't do anything you wouldn't do with your account. Simply put, the guest tag isn't a sort of safety net or excuse for potential mistakes.
