Hello:), I am here to inform you about a new petition I am holding! It is pretty simple and its only goal is changing the pesky name of a boring map called jb_obama:confused: it sadly forces players to vote for it just because of the name, I say we change the name to something like jb_orange or jb_climbsimulator it will still keep the authentic theme of the iconic map:cool: but will be less influenced by name and create a better and more enjoyable time for all gamers. All I ask is that you please react to this post with a (y) and support me through this cause Thank You! <3

ps. for anyone thinking we should remove it completely I say the map can still be very enjoyable just has to be when the server is lower pop

Technically, you can edit any map you want and any map creator or workshop content uploader who locks down the editing of their maps or content uploaded to the workshop can and should be reported to Valve as part of agreeing to use both Hammer and the Community Workshop is agreeing that you do not have ownership of it.

AKA no one can do anything to us legally if we modify a map in anyway. However, that doesn't stop people from attempting to pursue legal actions because they're going to be more confident in the fact that we don't know the EULA better than they do.

This is my knowledge from my time in leadership, so it's not coming straight out of no where.

Sup mr pee loc.
Yeah, whoever made obama is just throwing out empty threats, the dude wouldnt even notice if we made a different version, but I doubt leadership would take any chances on a potential lawsuit.
Thats why I said we cant edit it. We can and countless people have decompiled it already, but I really doubt a new version of the map would be added since the maker is allegedly so vocal about the previously mentioned lawsuit.
Some love it while others hate it, strange map obama
