You vote for your top 3 maps I guess to remove the need for revotes.

Working on adding an option to opt out of the "new" system. You'd be able to pick how many maps you are asked (0 - 3), and votes will be handled automatically.

ok here is a con that is not mentioned in the thread:
Unless you want to have less say in the vote, you are forced to weigh the best 3 options out of 6 to get the vote menu off your screen. This is unfeasible for players at many times during the round.

If there was no urgency to vote, alternative voting would be better. However, that is almost never the case, leading me to believe that the older voting system is better as it is much simpler.

ultimately though this change will probably not make a noticeable difference in the vote results , just making the server a little worse than before. Just another one of your changes that you wont remove because you`ve already puts so much time into it

your say would have the same weight as everyone else's, the system simply uses your secondary and tertiary picks if your first one is not chosen.
setting your !votes to 1 would act exactly as the old system.

yeah but that doesn`t make what i said wrong. i didn't say anything about vote weights, just how someone would weigh them in their head before voting
equal vote weight != same say in vote when !votes at 1

again, i think this voting method is often better, just not in an environment like jailbreak where you often need to vote while playing
