Chernobyl, originally created by ThoRQ and NexoLike, is quite possibly the
best map to ever grace jailbreak as a mode. This map captures a mysterious and deserted feel of a nuclear complex; the map contains a rich environment with a unique setting. This map is extremely unique to many jailbreak maps, containing revolutionary gameplay with strong visuals.
Chernobyl is not
just a map, it is a statement. The map features a wide variety of games, secrets, and buildings. All of these factors contribute to the impact of the map on the players. Ask any jailbreak player to play the map, and they will struggle to respond negatively. There is no such thing as perfection, however Chernobyl stands out as an exception.
To say this creation is ThoRQ and NexoLike's cooperative magnum opus would be undermining the sheer enjoyment brought from this map. The lighting and design of the environment reinforce a tone of danger and decay; towers and platforms bring a stylized realism, which marks a significant point in the CS2 mapping community. This map
is the gold standard. This map surpasses the likes of spyvspy, vip, etc.
Jb_new_chernobyl is a memorable map inside of the counter-strike jailbreak community; created 11 years ago, this map stands the test of time. Multiple communities have enjoyed the map, as the map finds the best balance between competitiveness and player interaction/creativity.
The gameplay of the map contains a unique main cells, where Ts are placed inside of different cells and await the opening from CTs. If you haven't been sold on the map by this crucial information, the games of this map will. The map contains the following: pool, highdive, trivia, maze, dodgeball, basketball, deathrace, soccer, kz (climb), red light-green light, jumprope, roulette, colors, and the innovative block-breaking race game. This is already a strong lineup, even without mentioning the endless possibilities brought from the boundary-breaking design.

Adding new maps to a Jailbreak server helps keep gameplay fresh and engaging for the community. One map that would be a strong addition to the rotation is jb_new_chernobyl. Its unique theme and well-designed layout make it a great option for improving the variety and overall experience on the server.
One of the main strengths of jb_new_chernobyl is its atmosphere. The map is inspired by the abandoned environment around Chernobyl, giving it a darker and more immersive setting than many standard Jailbreak maps. This distinctive design makes rounds feel more interesting and helps the map stand out from typical prison-style environments.
The map also offers a solid gameplay layout. It includes open areas where guards can control prisoners effectively while still giving prisoners enough space to move, participate in activities, and follow commands. Multiple activity zones allow guards to run different games and challenges during rounds, which helps prevent gameplay from becoming repetitive.

In conclusion, Chernobyl is a map that I believe deserves a place in the official Edgegamers map pool. I hope that this lengthy suggestion is taken 100% seriously, as it took large amounts of effort. I pray every day, longing for the addition of Chernobyl to the jailbreak server, and hope to see a response.
