EDGEGAMERS WARDOGS RULES
Official Rules, Guidelines & Gameplay Standards
These rules apply to all EdgeGamers WARDOGS servers and are intended to maintain fair, enjoyable, and team-oriented gameplay. All players are also expected to follow the: Community Code of Conduct while playing on our servers. WARDOGS is a large-scale, team-based game. Players are expected to play fairly, contribute to their team, and avoid behavior that intentionally disrupts the experience of other players.

GENERAL RULES

• Do not grief or intentionally sabotage your team, i.e.
  • Do not intentionally destroy friendly equipment, vehicles, fortifications, or other team assets
  • Do not deliberately interfere with teammates attempting to play the objective
  • Do not intentionally block teammates, vehicles, spawns, or important access routes
  • Do not sabotage your team's FOB
  • Do not remove flares from helicopters that you aren't the pilot of
  • Do not take teammates kits unless they have given up (exceptions: defib/resuscitators)
    • Its expected to give the defibrillator back after you use it to revive them
  • Do not destroy your team's APC or intentionally block spawning at the APC
• Do not intentionally teamkill.
  • Accidental teamkills happen. Repeated, reckless, or intentional teamkilling may result in admin action
• Do not Ghost, this includes
  • Giving enemy players friendly positions.
  • Revealing friendly FOB or defensive locations.
  • Providing information about friendly movements or plans.
  • Using outside communication to deliberately assist the opposing faction.
• Do not encourage rule breaking
  • This includes providing false information about the rules
  • This includes saying that we don't enforce rules
• AFK players may be kicked in spawn when the servers are full

INFANTRY SERVER RULES
The following additional rules apply to all EdgeGamers servers designated as Infantry.
Our Infantry servers are intended to emphasize infantry combat while retaining transportation, logistics, and other gameplay necessary to move players around the battlefield.

ARMED VEHICLES

Use of the turrets on gunned vehicles is prohibited
This includes, but is not limited to:

• M249 Humvee
• Armed Kodiak variants
• Armed URAL variants
• Any other vehicle equipped with a player-operated weapon

Gunned vehicles may still be used for transportation and logistics; however, use of the weapons built into the vehicles is not permitted. Shooting rifles, smgs, snipers, etc from vehicles is still permitted

HELICOPTERS
Helicopters may be used for transportation.
However:

• Use of the Grenade Launcher, or grenades from the helicopters is not allowed
• Helicopters should primarily be used to transport players to and from the battlefield
• C4 on crates may be be dropped from the helicopters

Shooting rifles, smgs, snipers, etc from helicopters is permitted

INTENT OF THE INFANTRY RULESET
Do not attempt to circumvent the Infantry rules through technicalities.
If a vehicle, weapon, seat, or mechanic provides vehicle-based offensive firepower that defeats the purpose of an Infantry server, admins may require players to stop using it even if it is not specifically listed above.

ADMINISTRATION & ENFORCEMENT
EdgeGamers admins have final authority regarding the interpretation and enforcement of these rules. Admins may take reasonable action against behavior that clearly violates the intent of the rules even when a specific situation is not explicitly covered. If an admin asks you to stop doing something, stop and discuss the issue afterward rather than arguing during the game. If you disagree with an admin decision, use the appropriate EdgeGamers forum or leadership contact process.
Do not:

• Argue excessively with admins in-game
• Encourage other players to ignore an admin ruling or break rules
• Attempt to exploit technicalities or loopholes in the written rules

CONCLUSION
WARDOGS is still evolving, and situations may arise that are not specifically addressed by these rules. Use common sense, play fairly, and respect other players. Admins have final authority regarding server rule enforcement.

Leadership reserves the right to modify these rules as gameplay, server features, and community needs evolve.
