Web Forum Notifications for New Membership Applications

Suggestion:

I would like to suggest adding a notification feature to the View All Applications section on the EdgeGamers forums.

Currently, we have to manually check for new membership applications. It would be helpful if members of leadership or other authorized users could follow this section and automatically receive a forum notification whenever someone submits a new application to join EdgeGamers and receive their e-tag.

How It Would Work:

• Add a Follow/Watch Applications option to the View All Applications section.
• When someone submits a new membership application, everyone following that section receives a forum alert.
• The notification includes the applicant's username and a direct link to their application.
• Notifications would be optional, so users could enable or disable them whenever they want.
• Only users with permission to view applications would receive these notifications.

Why This Would Be Helpful:

This would make it easier for leadership to stay updated on new applicants without constantly checking the application page.

It could also help applications get reviewed faster, improve response times, and make the recruitment process more efficient across all EdgeGamers divisions.

Overall Goal:

Make it easier for authorized members to stay informed about new membership applications through the existing EdgeGamers forum notification system.
