Updates and Server mod changes

[Mostly Harmless]

Well, as most of you have noticed i have been changing some things around on the server. We no longer use eventscripts. I have made some significant changes to sorucemod as follows:

Basic swear filter- typing swears will now bring you to the MOTD with a warning

Teamswitch to spec- eGs and eGOs can now switch people to spec much eaiser than before. you can access this section of you menu by pressing "4" after you enter your admin screen. Press "4" again for spec, Choose "Imeadiately or round end" then select the player. Done.

Different adverts- the ads show up in green text instead of in the middle of the screen.

Damage counter- More accurate and shows the person who does the most dammage each round.

Since i removed eventscripts, some of the scripts we used were lost. i have replaced them with different versions (they still work the same)

Knifemug


I did many more things to correct memory leaks and some random errors, This should correct MOST of the lag issues. i will be monitoring things during the next week repeatedly to make sure everything is alright.

Sorry if I sound disrespectful, but I used to operate a server for me and some school friends, and arent those changes all things that use simple commands in a mani cfg file? It just brought me down a bit b/c I see "Updates and Server mod changes" and think ooo maybe they install a big new mod, or added slots or something like that. But don't get me wrong those are good changes, such as the swear motd.

Considering we dont use mani, it is a big deal. IF you read the FIRST 2 lines of my post you would see "Significant changes to Sourcemod."
