some scrim questions

Will there be one next week? This week i couldn't join because the server was full. Most of the people had been connected for longer than the scrim has been going on. So, am I allowed to stay on the server (afk) before the scrim to assure myself a spot?

AFK isn't a good thing to do, especially on ava server because its always full and an admin would kick pretty quickly. I would recommend joining game half-hour before scrim or earlier and just play thru till scrim starts
