So...Anyone know of a good RTS game thats not Civilazation?

Dawn of War. Get it and all of the expansions except soul storm. The platinum edition has the original game and the first two awesome expansions for $29. Good price if you ask me.

I've heard very good reviews on Sins of a Solar Empire, which is supposed to be similar to Masters of Orion. I think Universe at War and World in Conflict are two of the better RTS's that were released in the last year.

I recommend Supreme Commander. Its the best RTS game I've ever played. World in Conflict is very good too.

SupCom is pretty good, I've got many hours of game play from it. Sins is also a good choice, and some of the mods are decent. Dawn of War is one of the best suggestions as well, and the expansion packs provide a lot of great content.

If you're looking for an older RTS then I would recommend Rise of Nations. The game has a lot of variety and it'll keep you coming back for more. (I would also recommend Total Annihilation if you want a truly ancient RTS. This is probably one of the greatest RTS games I've ever played. It was the first one that really got me interested in the genre.)

Hands-down, Company of Heroes. There is no better action-oriented RTS that has been released in years, imho.

Seconded, I have yet to see a better-looking/better-playing RTS. DoW is also a good game, and DoW2 is shaping up to be very nice when it eventually comes out.
