UT3 error

I just purchased Unreal Tournament 3 and installed it. Every time I try to run it my computer instantly freezes. I tried waiting 20 minutes after my screen went black but still nothing. Any ideas?

Okay I tried reinstalling (I was hesitant at first because it takes 15 minutes to uninstall and 30 minutes to install) and still nothing. Seriously, can anybody help me?

Does your screen immediately go black when you launch the game?

patch it, I believe its at patch 1.2 or maybe 1.3 is out. Play it with me if you manage to get it working
