Dells have intergrated Graphics Cards called Intel Xtreme which are horrible for gaming. find out if u have a PCI or a PCI E slot in it.

if a PCI the best graphics card you could most likely get is a Nvidia Geforce 5500 FX 256MB

but if its PCI E u can get the best of graphics cards



also try updating you graphics card drivers.

try running a Video Stress Test on CSS and see how many FPS u have if not alot right click on counter strike source or any steam game u need to do so, go to properties, launch options and type in -dxlevel 81 this will lower the stress on ur graphics card be lowering the DirectX level on it, the game will look the same but won't go into major detail as it does with -dxlevel 91.


also your cpu and ram might need an upgrade for any steam game get a 2.8ghz intel at the lowest and try to get 1GB of ram

also check your Internet connection try reseting your internet box and updating your router drivers

ya i tired everything u said and still the same problem. it has to be my internet because technically i dont have interent. its just a router. and it says signal strength very low!! oh and my fps was 20.16 ea time.
