Yeah crackhouse is one of my favorite maps and it would be nice if we changed the maps once in a while !

The thing is, they cant please everyone.. half the people love office, others not so much... but they have done italy and highschool already just a few days ago. In a little bit time we get our new servers, so we might have more variety... lets wait till then before going of the handle eh? =p

the one and only reason crackhouse will never go is because of the name

and the reason highschool went away is because no one was playing in it towards the end same with italy it would be full for a few weeks then drop out I don't know when a change of map will happen as of now its Office plus we are changing servers so we will have all new IPs

If I may make a suggestion, I think an Aztec or Assault server would be awesome. I don't see those maps any more, but they're quite fun. It's just a thought though.

Problem could be solved by a rotation of several maps. You could do each map for 30 or so rounds. That would keep fans of a particular map happy for a while but there would also be variety to keep the server populated. And they don't have to be custom maps so the "ppl don't want to download" (which is a false statement btw) argument doesn't need to apply.

I agree. Aztec is a great map. I would think about adding "de_aztec" or "de_dust" if we were able to get a third server.

Just to throw my .02 cents in, here is a list of my favorite maps (in order).

2. Cobble
3. Aztec
4. Kismyo Bomb
5. Dust2

Rotation servers do not get alot of members in it. then it just causes problems with spamming of nextmap and rtv.

Why is it that my favorite map of the 2nd server (zombie mod and then highchool) is always is full when I'm here.... and then I go to soccer camp or vacation or something and when I come back they have been empty so they're gone???? in the words of baller sad face

There are also a lot of empty 24/7 servers. 24/7 servers satisfy 1 particular crowd and only until they get sick of the same map over and over. That's why the Higschool server activity started declining.

Beta I'd say your post is more personal preference than any kind of fact. For years I have experienced the opposite of what you just said in MANY servers.

I also have, yet Css doesnt apply to those rules. The Css clan is MUCH more impatient when it comes to map changes and bad levels, etc. By having a 24/7 map, everyone who joins likes the map, we wont have people leaving because they don't like the map its on or that they are only playing because it is their favorite map then leave.

Okay that statement to me makes no sense. If people get sick of the same map, why do people always play dust2?

Second, Highschool (and Ive seen it hit 20+ people and stay at that) was changed to Italy, it gained more people but not enough to help its rank. It was then changed to Office, which attracts more people and its rank is slowly, but surely increasing.

Finally, if we have/had more than 2 servers then you could rotate through them all and not get bored by the one map you always play, so that there's a variety.
