Server Fillers - A Must read for e's

DBheights is a fantastic map..one of my favorites! its a progressive level map, 3 stages to be exact...push the cart to the final check point to move ur team to the next of 3 maps...fail and you are on defense! it's great...really requires a lot of teamwork and good planning...5 stars...2 thumbs up..however u wanna rate it...lets keep it full to up the rankings!

DBheights is amazing, i never would have thought that turning dustbowl into payload would work so well, whoever did it did a great job

I will try to make it onto the servers more often, this week i've had a lot of work around the house, but i'll be sure to help as much as i can.

Yeah, DBHeights is a nice map. A couple tweaks to the standard Dustbowl mean that a few of the more meatgrinder spots from vanilla Dustbowl get opened up a bit.

Makes me sad that work's kicked my ass so much this week. =\ Hopefully I'll shelve this proposal tonight and be able to get back on the servers. /fingerscrossed

Everybody who's a part of this community recognizes anybody visiting the servers has a lot of options as to how they're going to use their discretionary time. When you don't have a lot to spare, it only becomes more precious, so thank you for spending it with us, helping to build this community up.

Any time you can spend is appreciated. Remember, there are lots of great ways to help build things up even if you can't spend a lot of time on server. Have a look at what our sponsors are offering. Great products at great prices, and they appreciate your patronage. Other ways of helping, besides donating (which is always appreciated), are often discussed in clan meetings.

Whatever you can do to help is greatly appreciated.

This is very depressing seeing 4 servers empty at 2 o'clock pm pst.

Its driving us absolutely nuts. We have sent out messages and messages to get these servers full. Its time for the community to start helping out. This is a call for help.

Here's an idea: For the mornings and early afternoons (the slow periods), use popular maps. Then in the evening, rotate to an alternate map. This will help fill servers during slow periods and provide map variety during heavy traffic to maximize both filling servers and encouraging membership through map variety(which in turn fills servers as well). I'm sure many e's joined just for specific maps. This can also help introduce new maps to players, and help beta-test these maps.

You'll see me in there almost every morning, except on the weekends I may or may not have access to TF2. It is really not that hard guys. I get up at 5:30 am cst to go to work. My routine is slap the alarm clock, get up, hit the power button on my computer, get ready as it boots up, after I'm ready I spend about 1-2 minutes to add the seeding tag, , to my name and get in a server in spec. There I stay ALL day while at work, or until I'm kicked because the server fills.. I mean that is 3 minutes out of my day to help out the clan. I'm sure we can all spare that before we head to work in the morning and such. You could even leave it on overnight so you dont have to boot up and everything. Just go to spec at night before going to bed.

Every single person should do this. I always see Iceman in the servers seeding. e's help fill up the servers. Im usually on in a melee battle with the other ppl in server. Come join me in the low player servers.

Reading through the thread again...especially what BioHazardd and Monkeybits said caused me to do some more thinking.

Playing time is probably precious for most of us. Sometimes we don't have much time to play, and other times we do. When we get the time to play, most of us want to play in a full or nearly full server, right? I mean, what fun could a server possibly be with only 4 other people, right?

Well, that's how I used to be before I joined EdgeGamers Organization. Now that I've been part of this organization for quite some time, I've learned a lot and I have a decent understanding of how much hard work and money goes into keeping this community running strong. We should all do our best to help out. Click the ads everyday, visit the sponsors site, donate a few bucks if you can and maybe most importantly help fill those servers up. It's amazing how fast a server can fill up once somebody sees 1/32. It's fun! Thanks for reading my little rant.
