Perhaps you and someone else could create a map.
Someone that knows what their doing.

IE: You and Me could collaborate and make a map, except, I have no idea what I'm doing .. Hence why it's an example

Brownies, maybe tell us what you want in the map (meaning what direction, what theme, what type, that kind of thing) you're looking for, and then perhaps someone who is feeling particularly inspired will come along and help you make it.

I have NO idea what I'm doing with map making brownies.
I used my self in an example to try and get you to understand what collaborate means.
I don't make maps, never have, never will. I don't have the time or attention span to do it.
Understand?

I think your best bet is to do this :

- Make a new thread in the mappers' forum with the name "New Map Idea".
- In that thread, tell people what you want (describe what you have in your head)
- If people like the idea, some might come along and help you build it.


There is another way to do it, it's just more work intensive.

- In steam, go to the "tools" tab (at the top, it goes store, community, games, my media, and tools. Go to that last one.)
- download "Source SDK"
-read the many, many tutorials (some which were provided earlier in this thread) and get started mapping.


Describing what you want might be better in terms of speed, but frankly, learning to do it yourself is probably best. then you can be more creative without asking people for help.

if he is foreign then I'm sorry, but he sounds like a troll, English not being your native tongue doesn't mean you can't have common sence, he posted this same thread in another section
