A question about forums

I know if you change your steam nickname you have to submit a new application.
But what if you change your forum name or make a new main forum account? For example I'd like to make a new forum account that has more of my ingame name in it (Silent_Ninja ^.^) because no one can identify me as silent_ninja under the forum name of Trigger_Happy. So could I make a new forum account and abandon this one but have the new one focused more on my account name. I know it's kind of confusing but it's hard to explain. If you understand what I'm trying to say answer me please if you know the answer, if you don't get anything I wrote clarify how I confused you .

You do not have to create a new account, simply request a new user name that corresponds to your in-game name. For good measure, PM GardenGroveVW to let him know why the request is being put in.
