How many people still have Day of Defeat 1.3?

What if edgegamers opened up an old DOD 1.3 server? Would you play in it? What maps do you think it should have? Just asking a question.....

I would play in it

Avalanche and Switch are the maps I would like to see/play

I still have it installed and everything, it was free back in the day...now its 5 bucks to buy.

Graphics are of course a little less pretty.

Kar is 1 shot kill 100% of the time. Snipers are 100% 1 shot kill. Bar is a lot more accurate. In general stuff is more accurate. No iron-sight scopes. Instead there are melee weapons for rifles. Garand has a gun butt and the kar has a bayonet on it. Thompson doesn't punch, and to prime grenades you have to throw em on the ground and pick them up. No smoke grenades. Maps are pretty much the same thing, just a few slight differences. MG42 is comparably way more overpowered than the 30cal. Everyone has a pistol backup (rifles as well).

That is all I can think of right now. I used to love 1.3 =P

I am so into 1.3 right now. Don't play it. You'll only end up ion the Steam forums whining about what they left out of DoD:Source.

I have Dod 1.3 and i used to play it a lot. I would again if eGO fires up a server I don't have dod source yet so i haven't been tainted..lol

I think I have it. Never played it much though, so I don't know of any maps to suggest.

Its already installed. It can be just as fun, just not as good looking. Looks are overrated anyway. I would like that or BF 1942.
