On Sept 7th I will be landing in Las Vegas to start a new life. I wont know anyone, I wont have a job right away, and I dont know where im going to live. But if your going to roll the dice you might as well do in Vegas right?

Im a cook and I feel that i can make it in Vegas, cooking on the strip, Ive been doing this (cooking) for too long not to.

The point of this post? Well everyone is pretty much doubting me right now, including my girlfriend. Also, if there are any gamers in Vegas that want to say hello to a lost Congreve, feel free to.

Ex Vegas native my self.... Just keep to what you good at and dont let the bright lights of the strip swallow you up(best advice I ever got from my dad)
 
I'm about seven hours away in phoenix arizona. If my team ever goes to vegas for basketball ill be sure to try and stop by your work XD
 
Good luck! I moved to Florida by myself, for my job. No family and no friends. Just do what you need to do and remember not to gamble your money away (casinos always have the upper hand).

I work in a casino/bar/restaurant now so I know about why the casinos make so much money.

Good luck!! i got married in Vegas...it was really nice out there and seems like plenty of job opportunities..esp in the culinary field.. me and my wife at the Delmonico Steak house in the Venetian..it was probably one of the best meals in my entire life...but i am sure you will land or your feet and keep on moving...good luck again! hope you like the hot weather!! lol
