Okay many of you know I am currently working on porting the classic meat grinder map of Switch (dod_switch) [ultimately the best teamwork map ever {sorry Strand, but it is cause other wise its a deadlock map <Oh have you noticed I like side notes>}]
So just to make see the difference between Source Engine (DoDS) and the Goldsrc Engine (DoD 1.3). I thought I could show you some comparisons pictures of Switch from Classic and Source
Classic DoD
In Hammer [textured, no lighting, work in progress, nothings final in the picture] View
Note: Realize nothings final in the picture of the ported version. And yes there are missing power lines and it says SKYBOX where the skybox but remember this is from Hammer not the actual game.
I will be updating this thread about every two weeks or so after I have made some progress thats worth showing. So enjoy
!
ETA of map : 6 weeks or so [I have a job now so I cant work on this and game as much]
Also, its a port, I did not remake this map I took it from 1.3 and converted it to Source so I wouldnt screw up anything and its a almost dead on replica with some added detail and etc.
