I enjoy it even more than dod_strand, but sadly, ive not seen many servers running this map. Might it be something to try out for eGO ?

Yes, it is very cool. It`s more realistic then strand too in my opinion.

edit: dl'ed but just causes DoDS to crash to desktop, no error report

Sorry to say, but that is a lot more realistic than Strand. I think it would be fun to play on. And it seems BIG.
