I like it, though I'm hoping that's a true 4 second vulnerability- ie. You can't cancel it. Gonna have to see how it plays out, I really use my shotty a lot.

guess valve didn't want that nice sandwich model to go to waste (but at the same time I agree it's stupid)
 
I'm glad all of you have used the new sandwich, because last time I checked the update was not out yet..
 
I like the idea. I'm getting sick and tired of medics having nothing better to do than sit on a lumbering heavy who has full health while the rest of the team dies around them due to retreating from the front lines while on fire.
 
I don't know. I just read all about the Heavy update and I'm quite excited. It sounds awesome!!
 
IM Hungry! I love how in the video the scout says "Ouwww you punched my blood out!" or something to tht extent, lol

I think the update lacks creativity. The new Gameplay options look cool and the maps are good, but the 3 new weapons are just not creative at all. 1st. Boxing gloves he already has. Why not like brass knuckles? 2nd. another mini gun. hmm now it just makes the target run slower... kinda dumb. could have made it like a UT3 type mini gun with burst fire insindary rounds and the lot, missles and such COME ON! SOMETHING. Last and LEAST the sandwich. Creative? slightly. So they had a sandwich in the scout video. That doesnt mean he has to have one. They could have had like a Grapleing move or some thing he could do to throw your enemys far away. A sandwich.......... im sorry but as of right now im not impressed.
 
I think it all sounds pretty good. I like the trade off on the mini gun, even if it is just another mini gun. The Boxing Gloves were expected, but add an interesting twist. They might even make up somewhat for the deficiency of a shotgun, should you be using a Sandvich. Granted, that's a difficult scenario, but it does have the potential.

Sounds pretty balanced, and gives the Heavy a nice little twist, plus some added survivability. (Especially if you're playing with other Heavies, and have few Medics.)

I have the sandwich, and I think its the best unlock that they have made so far. I can heal myself and dont have to hog a team medic when there is a break in the action.



Please USE the unlocks before bashing them.
