Tons of people are sick of WoW, thats why AoC was sucessful at the begining of their release. AoC has failed miserably because of tech issues, unbalance and too much of their gameplay is mimicked to WoW. Give warhammer a chance you may be surprised.
Woot! I'm patching for open beta right now. I can't believe I didn't get into the closed beta, but it's probably because I wasn't involved in the community.
So!!! Who's in the open beta right now, which servers, class, race, etc? I'll definitely be Horde... *cough*... I mean Destruction.

Finally finished patching. I haven't seen server queues since the first few months of WoW. Looks like I'll be joining in less than 10 minutes, but you'd better believe they'll be adding more servers with the quickness. Probably not till launch though, this is more like free stress-testing for them.

I have been playing on an Archmage a lot lately. I did not enjoy Shaman as much when I tried the class during the closed beta. BUT I am starting to like Archmage/Shaman mechanism a lot. So far healing in WAR is lot more rewarding than healing in other MMO's I have played.

So have we decided if we are going to play order or destruction upon release?
As much as I love Orcs and Chaos, I strongly urge we chose order, simply because on almost every server they are outnumbered, and depending on the time of day you face several hour long queues as destruction.
Besides, each class has a mirror.

I have a couple destruction characters on Ekrund. Perhaps, we have met in the battle fields.
I have been playing Order now on different servers since I thought i gonna be playing destruction come release. However, if the population balance will be the same as OB, I probably will play Order at least a couple months after the game release.
However, you cannot really predict the population balance in beta. Beta players are minority, and usually it is not a good representation of what majority find attractive/cool to play with. I really hope the majority find Order more attractive so I can play destruction as an under dog.
