Alright, took me a couple of levels to figure out how the questing works. Ok, pretty much there are open quests in every zone. The game will let you know when you enter said zone. Up in the top right is a little ticker saying how you can complete the current part of the quest. Let's take one for example. In the greenskin zone near the squid pens there is a giant running around squishing guys. He's pretty annoyed with em' so when you run in the zone it pops up a little thing that says X/100 squids have been killed. If you are there alone, go ahead and pop off a few, if there is a group hey mores the better to kill em'. Now here's the beauty of it, it does not matter if you are in a group or not but your personal contribution at the end of the senario. So let's say you've been pounding out squigs for a while, a group comes in and finishes off the last 10. You, are ahead of the game. Ok, after you kill the squigs round 2 starts, giant opens up the door and stunties start pouring out and the quest continues. Now you will need more than yourself to finish the whole thing but the cool thing is that the loot is calculated on a roll system based on how much you contributed. Side note, healing counts for just as much as knocking heads. The best part is you can jump in at ANY point of the public quest and depending on how much you contribute in the time you are there depends on the phat lutes you aquire.
Side side note: By completing PvE quests and public quests and RvR helps move the bar in your realms favor thus winning the area. Go to warhammeronline.com and look at the podcasts, they really explain it better and how things work.
Confusing, kinda, rewarding, of course and as soon as my new harddrive arrives tomorrow from newegg i'll be on gibbin' for the greenies on badlands
