How can I find out if my donation was received. I donated last month and I noticed that members are receiving Financial Donation Award ribbons. I don't show a ribbon but I sent Paypal donation last month does that mean my donation wasn't received?

I don't know the details, but I have run into a similar issue on another website so perhaps this might be the issue: did you put your forum name in the Comments box when you made the donation? If not they probably had no way of knowing who sent in the donation.

Soup, I dont believe that everyone gets an award straight away. I have also been donating for the last 3 months.. I am not sure what the criteria for an award is, but I can tell you that I don't donate to get anything back.. if I do its a bonus.. its all about giving

Maybe you should see it the same way

BTW everytime I donate I do get a confirmation email from paypal and also a confirmation thank you email from Artimus, check your mail, if its not there, check out your spam filter you should have confirmation of your payment if it was sent online

Soupy don't worry, your donations are well appreciated, the awards are assigned manually, I doubt there is an automated system in place where you get a ribbon simply by sending money.

Also, the awards are getting revised by council and soon there are going to be some changes and maybe new awards, please be patient and hang in there.

Additional Note: I don't know if you noticed but we have thousands of users, sometimes is hard to keep track of all of them.

We have a great council, i am sure they are working the most they can out of their busy lives to keep things as up to date as possible, i am sure you will not go overlooked ! Just have some patience !

R.E.D hit it on the nose, these awards are given out manually. There are MANY generous people out there who have all donated money, so it takes some time. In addition, the awards are being restructured right now so that will be an additional factor.

I donate to the clan and I don't want anything in return except awesome servers to play on and great people with play with in eGO. I already have my reward.

As others have said we do manually assign these awards right now. To award system has just recently gone live again so there is a bit of a backlog of awards that need to be assigned. Stay tuned

Also note that those people who did not have their awards imported properly need to PM me with a lits of missing awards AND the e-mail address they used on the old websites. Thanks!

Lol I would donate but I dont got a credit card and my mom would be pissed if I ask to use hers and mailing wont work for me ethier since my mom keeps the miling stuff locked away...(she doesnt trust me)

I found the Paypal Receipt to Mike. I do Paypal through my wifes account. I just wanted to make sure the money was going to the right place. Thanks JohnT.

you could always use prepaid credit cards and a paypal account if you really want to
