Best Utility Player?

Hi guys, I guess what I am trying to ask is who do you consider to be a good player who can switch classes as need be and have an effect in the round. Not to toot my own horn but I classify my self under this. I can play Demo,Pyro,Spy,Medic,Engineer and Heavy when need be, however I would say that I am best at the first 4 that I named. I can tear it up as Demo with or without a medic (although med makes it easier) as a Pyro I can create some pretty crazy charges, as the Spy I am not as great but I can sap when need be and backstab annoying people and med is pretty self explanatory. I want to see your opinions on this..Laters eGO till I get home from work.

I myself will play anything except spy. Me spying would do no good for my team.

I'm best with soldier, engie, and sniper, rather good at demo and medic, decent with pyro, and I'll play heavy or scout if the team really needs one.

As far as who else I know that does this...well, I'll have to think on it and get back to it.

i think most people are pretty versatile, whether they choose to actually play the classes or not, well who knows. i generally play anything the team needs while on eGO servers and the only time im not on an eGO server is if i just wanna go and goof around on a single class.. lately ive been trying (unsuccessfully) to learn the spy.

I believe I do this. I don't really have a favorite class, but on certain maps (turbine particularly) I tend to switch to exactly what the team needs, be it engie to help defense, demo to help offense, or a spy to get rid of those pesky heavy rushes.

I tend to adapt pretty well.

I've seen tons of people who are decent at whatever they play, they just choose not to. I'm 'okay' with medic and demoman. Playing engineer is nice if I need to go grab something to drink, too. Everything else (besides spy) should be bearable if you've ever played a FPS before. (Not saying medic and demoman take more skill, just saying that they're the only ones I've actually tried to work on.)

But, yeah, I've seen a lot of versatile players in eGO. It makes things a lot easier.

Yeah, I think for most people they'll play whatever is needed. I know that's what I do. My favourite classes would have to be pyro, sniper, demo, engie, and medic in that order but really, I'll play anything

The only classes I have a hard time with are heavy and soldier.

Hands down, IMO, the BEST versatile player is Expunged. He can play ANY class as good as the best in that class.

I would say I am... just read Dr. Death's signature. I'm a really good spy, scout, engineer, heavy, sniper, soldier, pyro, medic, and demoman. Especially good spy so watch your back xD

Even thou i am getting better since i bought the the game couple of weeks ago i am willing to switch to what ever is needed as long as it helps out me team mates

I am decent in all the classes, my favorites are sniper, heavy, and pyro though dont care too much for spy but depending on the map usually dictates what I am playing, also what the team is doing defending/offense. But if theres a need for a certain class medic for example Ill roll that for a few rounds.

I do ok with Sniper but I'm not that amazing with Heavy and Demo. I also still need to work on Engineer. I can do a lot of the other classes though.

I am best at sniper, spy and engie and very good at all the other classes except demo.

Well, I am not worst demo in the world but honestly I suck as demo, my kpd is lowered times lower

Great with all classes .Best with I say soldier, engy , and spy. . I switch to multiple classes during the round depending on the people changing to other classes.If I go sniper with 1 other sniper and then see 2 more I'll get mad and then change.

Yes, Jehuty is probably the best all-around player.

If you don't won't to be killed by him, you should try to be on his team

i can play pyro, engi, heavy, demo,soldier, and sniper when im on blackmesa

the first 4 i can play effectively when the team needs one of them, but i try to stay pyro

I think most players have a class or two that they're particularly good at because they're used to the mechanics of the class and know exactly what their objective is in any situation. Once that happens, I assume that most people end up playing their favorite (and best) class the most. It's hard to branch out and become a truly exceptional player in all the classes because they're all so different (requiring different skills) and not many people are up for getting all the practice in.

I'm going to go ahead and not agree with saying Jehuty is the best all-around player because he's already full of himself already. (Kidding! He is quite good at anything except medic, but I didn't just say that. ^_^) In all seriousness though, I haven't really seen a player that is exceptional at more than two or three classes.

As for myself, I'm really only a halfway decent soldier and medic when I'm having a good night. I'm entirely useless as a spy or a sniper... as Ronin or just about anyone on Warpath will tell you.
