Kicked Notice on Steam

Hey there everyone as we all know they kicked us from the EGo steam group so we can all be in one steam group but the problem I have is that i cant get the dang notice to go away even when i click remove notice. Anyone else?? Any solutions??

Press remove notice and restart steam.

Yea, I have the same problem too, and it's quite irritating.
And doing what you said Insurge, didn't fix it :/...

For me it wouldn't go away and after restart it was gone. Try waiting for an event to start, another notice or something. Or refresh.

It's still there :/. I don't mind it too much...it should go away EVENTUALLY.

I have the same problem, tried everything and bla bla bla, and now I can't accept friend requests.
That sucks...

After you join the new eGo group, make it your primary group; the message should go away after that.

that's what happened for me, anyway.
