I have CSS and TF2, but I noticed this game here and had never actually heard of it before now. I also noticed that it's only $10 on Steam. Is the playerbase still big enough for me to start playing this now?

Occasionally our servers are so full you have to wait a minute or two to play and we have four of them. There are also plenty of other servers out there. I never have trouble finding a server with 20+ people. So there is still a decent player base out there. Of course I'm biased, but I think it's unquestionably worth the $10.

yeah it a real fun game we have six servers to play on ..they are 24/7 servers..kalt,strand/charlie,avalanche,flash,donner and i think the palermo server so go get the game and come in and have some fun with us

It is worth every penny. I, too, am a CS:S buff, but DoD:S will have you hooked. The sounds are better, the nades are better... I wish they would implement some of the features of DoD:S into CS:S. The way guns sound at a distance, the power of the nades, etc. It's a must have game.

Very much worth the $10. I been hooked on DoD:S since 2006. With a couple months break here and there, but you know.
