Garden, will you marry me? Because I really LOVE you! I loved Arena but I always hated sitting out so now it's all better Plus... NEW MAPSS!!! Can't complain there Thanks for keeping our server the #1 Arena to play on! I'd recommend adding NO SIT OUTS or something similar to server name!

The whole sit-out thing is unfair IMO. Only the good players get to play a lot, and TF2 was built around the concept that skill does not guarantee more playtime or more practice. Ideally, we should have 32 people who can play each round.

I think the thing I hated most about sitting out was how you'd be happy to end up on a team with your friend, end up sitting out a round, and then be switched to the other team the next round. If part of the point of the arena is for players to work together strategically, having players swapped around so frequently sort of defeats that.

I haven't formed an opinion on 16 v. 16 yet though. I don't think I've been on the server since the change when it's been full.

Well, I'm one of the few fans to enjoy sitting out being a part of arena.

I like how the best team effort will keep playing and those who are either unlucky or unworthy have to sit out.

I almost exclusively played Americas Army before TF2 and I didn't mind sitting out at all. It made the tactics of the game totally different and made you think hard about how you were going to pull off the win.

So I am with you 100%!

I didn't think I would like Arena, however, after playing a few rounds today, I rather enjoyed it. It's still team oriented, but has a CSS feel to it. So far I'm enjoying it. I'm also enjoying the no spectator portion as well. That makes for some quick turn around. And if you're going to get steam rolled, at least it will only be for 5 minutes before the teams are shuffled.

So, overall, very good job GGVW and the rest of the fearful leaders

I filled most of my time i would have been playing turbine during is... ahhh....experiment.... playing on the arena server.

I will have to say i really like it. Takes me back to my UT deathmatch days.

I think the sitting out was some incentive to "play better", but like anyone else, i never liked sitting out. Speaking of sitting out, while playing the other night even after the mod was installed i still found myself sitting out a round..... whats up with that?

Yeah,

I just really enjoyed looking down at the list of people waiting to play, and knowing that I don't want to give up my spot! But I've been playing arena a whole lot since the change and it's still very enjoyable. It's light years ahead of other arenas by far.
