Annoying Demoman Problem on Turbine along with language.

Recently, i have been playing on the eGO's Turbine server, and as you can see by the title, have been having some issues. As i joined the game and greeted my fellow "clannies", as soon as i walked out of the spawn door (literally, AS SOON AS), i was greeted by some demoman and stickybombs, which you probably know what happened. Spawnpwnt. This has gotten WAY out of hand and though admins are doing a great job of keeping it in control, it still happens. It seems as one dies, two more join. This is the EXACT same way with language, though we seem to be more under control with language. What to do? Compensate for it or take immediate action?

Compensate for it.

Build an uber in spawn and take the fight to them.

This isn't JUST about the demoman problem, it's the language mainly, really. This is a mature world gaming clan, with mature servers. We want people to play on our servers, right? And we intend on providing a friendly environment, therefore i personally, and neither do probably most of you out there, do not want some immature punk screaming some unnecessary language over voice chat! And do not say "lol turn off chat".

No don't turn off chat.

Pull up team chat (U) and type a message to any admins starting with the symbol @.

ie: @So and So said this that and the other over the mic.

That way the admins can warn - sometimes people miss things and an extra set of eyes and ears always helps.

Agreed. You have a team of 16 people. If one Demoman is keeping you in your spawn, something is wrong. Just wait until he blows his stickies killing one person and charge out and kill him before he can plant more.

As far as the language goes, yeah, that's definitely a problem. If someone is using language that violates our rules, you should definitely alert an admin. The way Jubei describes works very well for this as it'll alert even admins on the opposite team (or spec).

If there are no admins around, try contacting one on your friend list or even through the Shoutbox, IRC, or Vent.

I like to be a sniper, fully charge a shot while aiming at the door, have someone rush out and while the door is open, snipe the guy.

Try that sometimes.

Unfortunately, admins aren't able to be everywhere all the time. We try, but sometimes there just aren't enough people around to keep an eye on every team of every server. As was said before, if you hear language over the microphone, use admin chat (if there is an admin on the other team) to let them know there is a problem:
u@Hey guys - we're having some language problems on the mic over here.

or more specifically:

u@Hey guys - <player name> is using quite a bit of fowl language over the mic.

Also, if you're having some major problems on a server, please feel free to contact one of us over steam chat (please feel free to add me to your friends list). Most of the time you'll be able to find one of us free who can come in and help settle things down.

Most of all, remember to have fun!

I try to play Turbine every night and yes, there is a lot of bad language at some points. Klesk, if it really becomes a problem in the server an no admin is there, message an admin in Steam or even ask for help on Ventrilo. I'm sure they'd be happy to help take care of the problem
