ok 1st off, lets stop talkin bout spider-man trilogy, the topic is on max payne & ur thoughts. i saw the trailers & i really dont think they follow the game very well. tru it does have elements, but if would be worth it if they did follow @ least 50% of the story line (which i really dont see happening). then the director of the movie has the bawls to complain bout the fact that the movie received an "R" rating. Um, hello! Both games are rated "M" due to blood, violence, & sexual themes. Now unless theres barely any blood & no sexual reference (which wouldnt be going along with the game), then i could prob understand the reason. apparently the director is re-workin the movie in hopes of gettin a pg-13 rating. imho i wouldnt do jack to get a pg-13 rating. the game is based on a man who is framed for murdering his family & he goes after the ppl who murdered his family. pretty much ur "rambo" version but in games, only difference is max payne doesnt have big muscles & isnt religious. at 1st when i heard bout mark wahlberg gettin the part of max payne, i thought it might sound interestin, but when i saw the trailer, i thought "oh no another bombed movie". frankly, well have to see.
Also, one other thing, I seriously suggest that you get both Max Payne & Max Payne 2 before seeing the movie. You wont understand much of the movie without playing the game. Just beware of the 1st game, for it is really trippy. The 2nd game is just a really dark NYC shootout, but if you do search for mods for both games, it makes the game alot more fun.
