Incorrect age enterred.

The word "age" is too short to use your friendly neighbourhood search option. Anyway, I was intrested in looking at CoD 4 on steam, so went to bring it up. Now steam requires me to enter an age, but when I went to click on the year button I over-shot with the mouse and hit enter, saying I was born in 2008...
This meant that I cannot acess the CoD 4 page to buy it or watch the trailer. Does anyone know how I can re-set my age setting or do this again? i tried logging out but It's still saying I cannot acess the thread (I dont want to have to wait 15 years too!)

I don't know if steam is any different from websites that do this, but when that's happened to me on websites, I just leave it alone for awhile and come back an hour or so later and it always asks me to verify age again.

That is the stupidest thing to make people do anyway. Do they honestly think kids under the age of 18 aren't just going to lie and put in a false birthday so they can view the site? Hell I'm 27 and I never enter my correct birthday, just enter any value over 18 and start viewing.

Thanks DEMODER, Darth has also been unwittingly helping me by sharing the similar thing that happened to him. Hopefully it will refresh, becuase it's someone's birthday coming up soon (Handsome devil ) so I wanted to get CoD4.
It honeslty can't think I'm one, or make me wait 14 years to buy the game

The steam browser is just an extension of internet explorer, so go to internet explorer and delete your cookies and you'll be all set!

Like on youtube, I have an acc of 27 or so, sometimes you just can't watch a GTAIV movie -.- *Not like i'm going to try and steal a cab*

After several hours when I attempted to join the page again I finally got the option back! Unfortuanately for me, it's 2 weeks until I can view the thread. Tough luck on me huh?
