Daps my good sir. But, there's a knife? Do you have to completely drain your ammo to use it or something? Or is there like a button or something?
 
If the INS team can pick up some new team members to do some new player animations, this could EASILY be a retail game.

That was in an older version of the game, its no longer in it.

Lt. Wolf actually was an animator for them at sometime (The people making INS)

I'm with Herm, this game rocks my socks. I spent several hours in it Saturday night, and if I hadn't been out of town yesterday I would've been playing then too =P I've had pretty good luck with shooting from the hip when necessary, but that's mostly at close range. I have had a couple where I've come around a corner as Marksman, ran smack into an Insurgent, and no-scoped with the sniper rifle. It's satisfying after he's dead, but it's definitely an "OH CRAP" moment when you first see them.
 
I really LOVE this game. I think the learning curve is fun, going up to people and seeing their colors, planning tactical attacks, and talking to your team mates. In CSS/COD4/TF2 and most other FPS's I get bored of them easily because there is either little or no tactical planning involved with MOST of them (not all). I don't really get bored of playing this game as often, because it requires concentration and skill. I once rage quit the game tho cause I got shot by a team member 5 times in a row o.O. It is actually a good game to play, and I like the little hud because without it the game would be too easy.

I heard someone scream that one game while I was playing. And now I wanna do the jedi hand wave in-game.

Yes, I've noticed it crashes when adjusting certain settings. It also doesn't tab back into the game sometimes after I've tabbed out.

You running vista?
 
This game apparently hates Vent for me or something. After the last meeting whenever I get on vent then try to play a game, it kills vent/my mic no longer registers. I have to then alt+tab out, exit vent, unplug and replug my headset, reconnect to vent, disconnect, unplug and replug my headset again, then finally reconnect before it works properly. Never takes more than that and never less. I just noticed that Insurgency is more likely to kill Vent for me than any other game.
 
I didn't have any trouble playing while on Vent, and I haven't had any issues adjusting settings. I'm running Vista 64
 
My only problem is this, only happens when i change graphic settings:

And i have found a way around it, but its a serious hassel.
Start up the game, join a server, THEN once in the server change my settings.
(i have to play games on low/med settings or i get a hideous graphical glitch)
Now, that works to get me playing, however, if
  • The map changes
  • I leave the server to join another
The game treats it as if i changed my settings, which pops up the error from before.

So i get to play till the map changes, then I get the error, game crash, restart, join a game, change my settings (takes like 5minutes to change settings in-game) and then play. all in all taking somewhere between 5-10 minutes to actually be playing and everything.

ITS A PAIN IN THE BUTT.
So an actual fix would be great. seeing as my way is only a quick fix that fails, and the INS link http://forums.insmod.net/index.php?showtopic=16677 MasterOfPuppets gave me, offered no working solutions.

I really enjoy this game, which why its so annoying.
 
One time playing this game, and I'm hooked. But again to emphasize the extra admin commands I requested in the first page would be great to make this game more enjoyable with balanced teams.
 
Team kill sucks!! But other than that a great game :) I feel really guilty when I kill my own teammates :(
