Left 4 Dead is an upcoming multiplayer co-operative survival horror first-person shooter game by Valve. The game will be available on Microsoft Windows and the Xbox 360.

Left 4 Dead pits four human playable or AI controlled survivors of an apocalyptic pandemic against hordes of zombie-like, aggressive "Infected". The Survivors' goal is to help each other make it through various scenarios to safety. The Infected are controlled by an AI that dynamically balances difficulty and mood depending on the players' progress and situation. In an alternate game mode, human players can control up to four mutated Boss Infected with special abilities and cooperate to stop the Survivor players.

The expected release date for Left 4 Dead is November 19, 2008 in the U.S. and November 21, 2008 in Europe.

I typically only play Avalanche when I playing DoDS but Switch is starting to make me, well, switch. Good Job Rogue Sniper, if I knew where you lived I would come to your window in the middle of the night with a Mexican Quartet and serenate you with Mo Town oldies.

Back in the days of DoD classic, I played Switch about 50% of the time. It is a great map...with lots of spots for MGs and snipers too. Ever since DoD:Source came out I have been looking for a Source version of Switch.

I am real glad Rogue Sniper converted it and the eGO clan is offering it on a server! Hopefully a lot of players from the Classic days will check it out and ppl newer to the map will try it and enjoy it.

Hats off to Rogue Sniper and eGO!
