How awesome is that? This is the coolest academic program I'VE EVER SEEN! Seriously - absolutely awesome. ( Back in my day, we all had dirt in the way of cash ... and to get a copy VS ... well, lol ... well ... we didn't have torrents. LMAO! )

I highly doubt your local thieves union ... er I mean college bookstore ... will be telling you a single word about this program. After all, they serve up this same software at RIP-OFF prices.

It's a much better alternative than ... um, not-so-legal means - and you get easy, fast access to the best windows development tools available.

All free.

Something like this MS thing is great for those of us who are getting into the industry and don't got the connections (yet).
 
very nice, though my university hasn't been added yet, and I have no ISIC card atm. Looks very nice though :)
 
Uh we have MSDN for free the way it is...but this is a great site...

Also reminds me that I need to get 64bit XP, Vista, and Visual Studio 08 before I graduate...
 
Not everyone has free access to MSDN. That's really expensive. You're lucky that you got a free subscription.

Yes it is one of the best perks about being a Computer Science major at my school. I try to take advantage every way possible and I would suggest others do likewise.

Bah, it was a real pain in my *** to get Visual Studio 2008 installed. .Net doesn't like me that much.

YAY! I got Server 2003 last year when it was available on the site and hadn't thought about checking again to see if Server 2008 was available. I'm definitely downloading that right now. Having previous experience with Server 2003 has greatly helped me understand whats going on in my Administration courses. I hope we get to use 2008 before I graduate and don't just stick to 2003.
