I been playing INS for a little bit and I found better ways of gameplay. First: for the shotgun, try not to use the AIM and get use to 'no scoping" this will help a lot because when in close situations you WILL need to shoot at instant. Using the aim slows you down and shotty rounds are too spread apart to actually hit a far away enemy. The chances of you hitting someone from far distance is unlikely so why use the aim at all...?
2. Make use of your smokes, I noticed in maps like ALMADEN people tend to not use the smokes in the right places. If you are a marine use your smokes on open streets that are highly sniped. Running across will not prevent you from getting your head blown off. SMOKING WILL
3. Follow the objectives and the commander. SURE killing is important but, capturing the key points is more important. Killing one guy isn't worth losing a flag just because you wandered to a different place. That guy you killed is just going to respawn over and over again so, to make the map quick just go to the objective and secure.
4. Never EVER stay back in sniper class. OK OK many of you will disagree but, snipers are most useful helping to take out the enemy in the cap sites. In almost every map I see snipers staying in spawn next to a road or a building. This is useless to the team and retarded. The team can benifet and YOU can get more kills by following in the squad and helping take out enemies in other sniping spots. HOW COOL IS THAT? lol
5. Do not use the radio chat if you are in enemy territory. I cannot believe how dumb some people can be when they play. An enemy will not know that you are there if you stay in a secure area in there zone. But an enemy will know you are there if they hear IM ATTACKING or I NEED BACKUP. Unless you have your men behind you then please, for the sake of killing people, don't be dumb. Imagine if you are in war, and you are in hostile area, would you shout out and give away your position? NO, unless you are suicidal....
6. Choose class wisely, use the gun you are best with and not whats "cool." I know so many amazing riflemen who use sniper class because they think the gun is cool. If you suck at it don't use it. period.
7. In game the x button helps you change your type of fire (burst, spray, or single shot) in some guns. Use it right and make use of it. In a sniping spot the best shot is single fire because it reduces recoil and you will be more likely to kill them. In tight spots use auto or burst (depending on what gun you have).
8. Commanders: do your job, don't send in reinforcements if you don't need it. Also make sure you make the right decisions (tatics).
9. For the RPG class or Grenadier: Ok here is the deal, the best way to kill an enemy in this class is not using your pistol or gun, use the rpg/nade. The MARINES version of this class has a terrible gun so, use your nade in areas where a lot of people are. RPGs are best for taking out a large squad or a hard to spot sniper.
10. Support class: This class is easy yet hard. Why? Because you have a highly automatic gun but, no nades or smokes. If you need a smoke ask for a smoke in the squad (which means don't ever leave without your squad). Also deploy in smart areas. This means don't block an entrance or don't deploy in open areas....Make sure you conserve your ammmo (I mean it) supports have the most ammo but you waste a lot. Almost every person I see thats a support end up dying because of no ammo.
11. Don't ever try to rush by yourself, be a group. This will help take out more enemies and cap the points.
my last advice: have fun
