So, I've been thinking, as I'm sure some others might have...and who knows, I may have even missed a thread on this topic already. Anyhow, I've noticed that the server for Warpath2 is great (full all day - late evening), but then dies to completely vacant in the *late* late hours, and early morning. I'm wondering if part of this is due to the rounds being as long as they are initially. People who have played on this server can attest to the fact that on a good back and forth round, the time limit can reach astounding heights, with the round still ending in SD and sometimes even "fail"mate. This can become frustrating to some players, and I've noticed people only sticking around for a round or 2 in the past because of this. My proposed solution? Lower the initial round time limit to 15 or 20 minutes (instead of the 25 or 30 I think it's set to right now?). With the initial caps by both teams, and the inevitable cap of the bridge point early by one team or another, or possible multiple caps of it by both teams in some cases, the round time will still get high quickly enough, but not as high. This also has the added benefit of encouraging players to be a little more aggressive with their pushes, and maybe enforce a little more "battlefield tactics". Anyway, that's just my take on the whole thing, but I'd like to see what others think, so please feel free to participate in the poll! ^^
