I think it can be a strategy as well, but more often it is abused.

As long as they aren't shooting directly into spawn, its fine.

People who tend to complain about getting killed outside forget about the usefulness of smokes.

Spawn camping isn't allowed.
Spawn camping would be considered as camping in a certain area and then shooting the enemy as they run out of spawn(what skillbox said)..not allowed. Get an admin to warn the server about the spawn camping if it continues.

well I asked herm and he says , warn , kick , ban ... so there you have it. Blatant Exit Camping / Spawn Camping is a kickable / bannable offense

Have to say the autokick for TK is not enough, tonight for example we had a player constantly shooting rpg's into everyone spawning TK the whole time, he would just connect right back and do it again.. maybe we just need some more admins

not sure how to solve this one, and how do u get the persons steam id when the console will not come up?

You have to enable the console first. From the main menu, click options, then keyboard, then advanced - and check the box to enable.

The ~ key is the default to bring it up. To get the steam ID, type "status".

There are plug-ins they are looking at that make you invulnerable for a couple of seconds after you spawn.

No, you were doing your job. If you think about it every other game has a kick/ban offence if caught spawn camping why should Insurgency be any different?

well because every other game isnt built like INS ... I've never had a problem getting out of a spawn but I guess not everyone is self motivated enough to beat the odds. I looked at it as if we as a team let the insurgents move in on us so close as to where we are pinned down in our spawn thats the teams fault for not working together in order to accomplish our objective. I'm not saying I wont enforce the rules that have been passed down to me.

Is there a way to find out who killed you if you die 1/2 a second after you spawn?
