Name Change and Scrims

So, I was on the Flash server just now, but got booted unexpectedly because I can't figure out how to change my name in game. The last time I changed my name for DODS was back when Steam still required an email address as your account name. I've already played as an =(e)= in Insurgency, but this is the first time I've played DOD since my application to eGO was accepted.

I can only assume that none of the folks that new I had joined were on at the time I was kicked so while its frustrating I can understand why it happened.

To prevent that in future, can someone give me instructions on how to change my name now?

DoD is now linked to Steam. Change your Steam name for your in-game name to change...that's all!

Go to your desktop and at the bottom right you see your steam application, right click on that and go to settings. Once there go to friends ,theres a tab at the top, and just change your name to whatever ex. =(e)=™ Stick [dam]

Thank you, Stick. That got me sorted out.

Hopefully this means I won't get dropped from the next scrimmage.

BTW, right before the scrimmage started I shot Boyle and got 22 points! Is he ranked #1 or something? I don't recall ever getting more than 12 points for someone before.
